Calvin Wong joined Ontario Teachers’ in Jan 2023, and is based in Singapore. He is responsible for portfolio management, with a specific focus to support direct and co-invest portfolio companies across APAC, primarily in value creation and risk management.

Calvin joined Ontario Teachers' from McKinsey,  where he was in the leadership team in the Digital Transformation Practice. Calvin was also COO for a UK change management consulting firm. Calvin has spent 13+ years in consulting and has served many enterprises in delivering substantial values in both topline enhancement and cost optimization for over 10+ years. Prior to Ontario Teachers’ too, Calvin has also worked in PE for 6+ years, in the areas of values creation with CVC Capital and Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA), where he operated across the Asia region. He worked with portfolios across many different sectors from Industrials, Consumers, IT services etc.

Calvin holds a B.Eng. (1st Class Hons) graduate from Manchester University, UK and MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Scotland. He has also attended business management courses from Berkeley University and Columbia Business School.
